Be a Part of the Knock Out Challenge!

The Birth Place of Basketball is aiming for a world record that will land it in
the Guinness Book of World Records. Be a part of history by participating in
the Guinness Book of World Records Knock Out Challenge at the Naismith Memorial
Basketball Hall of Fame Saturday, November 10.
Local celebrities, mascots, the MAAC and members of the community have already signed up to participate in
the Challenge.

Springfield Boys & Girls Club and the Basketball Hall of Fame. Please visit

prior to November 9 will receive a free single session game ticket to the MAAC Basketball Championships in March 7-11, at the MassMutual Center.
Those who register the day of the event will receive a discount offer for the
MAAC Basketball Championships.
Event Details: This event will take place at Center Court in the Basketball Hall of Fame. You can
also register day-of from 10 to 10:45 a.m. with the first shot starting
being taken by Springfield's Mayor
Domenic J. Sarno at 11 a.m. The winner of Knock Out will walk away with a grand
prized valued at $500.
While participants wait to take their shot, local restaurants
will be on-site with a sampling of food, along with coupons and discounts.
Who can participate? Anyone and everyone! As long as you can
shoot a basketball you can participate in the Knock Out Challenge. No need to
bring a basketball since they will be provided at the site.
"Being in the
Birthplace of Basketball, it just made sense to go after a world record in
Knock Out basketball," said Global Spectrum's Matt Hollander, General Manager
of the MassMutual
Center. "We are using this Knock Out event to kick
off All Session tickets going on sale for the 2013 MAAC Men's & Women's
Basketball Championships," being held at the MassMutual Center March 7-11,
2013.
The
2013 MAAC Men's & Women's Basketball Championship All-Session passes go on
sale on October 20 and start at just $99 at all Ticketmaster outlets,
Ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 800.745.3000 or at the MassMutual Center
Box Office. Each All Session pass
includes a ticket to all 9 sessions (18 games) and a one-day pass to the
