The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Corvias ECAC Men’s & Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week ending Jan. 31.

DIVISION I

Player of the Week

Brett Bisping – Siena College, r-Jr., Forward, Peoria, Ill.

Bisping averaged 23.5 points and 15 rebounds while shooting 57 percent from the field and 60 percent from three-point range as Siena ran its win streak to four games with victories over Niagara and Marist this past week. The forward began the week by scoring 15 of his 20 points in the second half to lead Siena to an 82-70 triumph at Niagara. He rounded out his first of two double-doubles on the week with 12 rebounds. Bisping then put together one of the top efforts in all of college basketball this season, posting 27 points to go along with a career-high tying 18 rebounds in Siena’s home win over Marist Saturday. He became just the 10th player in Division I with at least 27 points and 18 rebounds in a game this season, and the first player to do it in a MAAC contest in 16 years (Darren Fenn, Canisius – 2000).

DIVISION I

Player of the Week

Tori Jarosz – Marist College, Sr., Center, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.

Jarosz averaged 16.7 points per game, grabbed 15.7 rebounds per game, and swatted 4.7 shots per game averaging just 28 minutes of play for Marist en route to reaching two milestones this week. On Monday, she scored her 1,000th career point, as the Red Foxes beat the Saint Peter's Peacocks 69-46 for their fifth-straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference win. Jarosz finished the night with her 15th double-double of the year with 18 points, 19 rebounds, six blocks and two assists. The center followed it up with another big performance to help the Red Foxes move into first place in the conference with a 66-37 win over Siena. Jarosz recorded 19 points to go along with 16 rebounds and six blocks. At 8:30 of the third quarter, Jarosz picked up her fifth block of the game and the 163rd of her career, breaking the all-time program record, which had been held by Diesa Siedel. To cap of the week, Jarosz led past Rider, 74-56, posting 13 points and 12 rebounds in just 19 minutes for her 17th double-double of the season, most in the NCAA.
