ESPNU to Broadcast Men's Soccer and Volleyball Championships

Edison, NJ ? The deciding contests of the 2008 MAAC Men’s Soccer and Volleyball Championships will be televised live on ESPNU, it was announced today.

The men’s soccer championship game will be played at noon on Sunday, November 16^th in Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. This will mark the third time the game has been nationally televised as the game was also broadcast on ESPNU in 2005 and 2006.

The volleyball championship match is set for 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24^th on UHY Court at the Alumni Recreation Center at Siena College in Loudonville, New York. MAAC Volleyball made its national television debut last fall as Siena dramatically defeated Fairfield University 3-2 for the MAAC Championship.

The MAAC Champion in each sport receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.  

ESPNU
