Jamie Darvill, Loyola

Darvill, a junior forward, was named MVP of the Black & Decker Soccer Classic. He scored three of Loyola’s four goals in posting a pair of 2-0 wins to start the 2008 season.
Matthew Durand, Niagara
F, Sr., 6-2, Melbourne, Australia/Bryant & Stratton
Durand, a senior forward, had a hand in all the goals scored by the Purples Eagles as they won both of their games in the Coastal Carolina Invitational. He scored two goals and aided on three more this past weekend.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
Milos Kocic, Loyola
GK, Jr., 6-4, 200, Leskovac, Serbia/Vojislav Nikolajevic
Kocic, a junior goalkeeper, was named to the Black & Decker Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team after leading the Greyhounds to a pair of shutouts. He made four saves between the pipes against Fordham and Hartwick. Kocic has recorded shutouts in 16 of his 17 outings.

Carl Haworth, Niagara
M, Fr., 5-9, Barrie, Ontario/Barrie Central
Haworth, a freshman midfielder, recorded one goal and one assist in the Purple Eagles' 4-3 victory over Longwood in the Coastal Carolina Invitational. Down 3-2, he struck in the 67th minute for the game-tying goal, the first of his career.
