Duggan averaged
4.5 points/game in two Siena wins against undefeated teams in the MAAC this
week. He scored three goals including the game winner and added an assist in
Siena's 14-4 win against Marist on Wednesday. He followed that with three goals
and two assists in an 8-7 victory at Mount St. Mary's on Saturday. Duggan
fueled the comeback win, erasing a three-goal deficit with six minutes left in
the game by scoring two goals and assisting on another.

Herbst had a 5.14 GAA and a .730 save percentage in
two Siena wins against undefeated MAAC teams this week. He shutdown Corey
Zindel and the Marist offense on Wednesday, making 15 saves and allowing just
four goals. Zindel averaged 4.5 points (15th NCAA) and 2.5 assists (5th NCAA)
per game. Zindel had both of his shots on cage stopped by Herbst and had just
one assist. Herbst out-dueled 2009 MAAC First Team goalie T.C. DiBartolo on
Saturday, making 12 saves and allowing six goals.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
CONNOR RICE, MARIST
A, Fr., 5-7,
Penfield, N.Y./Penfield
Rice had a pair of hat tricks in Marist's
games at Siena and Detroit this week. On Wednesday, Rice had three goals and
four ground balls against the Saints. He then had three goals and two assists
in the Red Foxes' 13-6 win at Detroit on Saturday. For the week, Rice had six
goals and eight points. Rice leads Marist with 29 goals, scoring at least two
in 10 of the last 11 games.
