Gonzalez, Frauenhofer Earn MAAC Runner of the Week Awards

Edison, NJ - Rider's
Christian Gonzalez and Canisius' Maura Frauenhofer were named the MAAC Men's
and Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively.
Gonzalez, a senior from Somerset, N.J.,
placed 2nd of 91 runners at the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Gonzalez ran the 6k in 18:44.
Frauenhofer, a senior from Williamsville, N.Y., placed 5th of 93 runners and helped lead the
Canisius College women's team to a third place finish at the Duquesne Duals on
Saturday in Pittsburgh, Pa. Frauenhofer ran the 5K in 18:26.
The 2010 MAAC Men's and Women's Cross Country
Championships will be held on October 29 at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison,
Connecticut.
