Carl Haworth, Niagara Men's Soccer

Haworth
enters his senior season as the unquestionable leader for the Purple Eagles.
Last season, Haworth earned All-MAAC First Team and NSCAA All-Region Second
Team honors while placing second in the conference with 11 goals and 26 points.
Haworth's accolades helped earn him the 2011 MAAC Preseason Player of the Year
honor. He begins the season tied for fifth in program history with 23 goals and
seventh in points with 59. Haworth has been listed as a top senior prospect by TopDrawerSoccer.com's
Joe Mauceri, ahead of two players from defending national champion Akron and
was the highest ranked senior from the MAAC. The Barrie, Ont. native gained
international experience over the summer as a member of the Canadian National
Team at the 2011 Summer Universiade Games in Shenzhen, China in August. Haworth
netted two goals in six games for Canada and scored a goal in the penalty kick
shootout win over Namibia.
Kelly Boudreau, Fairfield Women's Soccer
Sr, Goalkeeper - Farmington, Ct.
Kelly
Boudreau is in her final season with the Fairfield women's soccer program and
already holds the school record for shutouts with 26. She is within 70
saves of the school-record in that category and is atop the schools' career GAA
list, at less than 1.00 per game. A Finance major at Fairfield, Boudreau
has been on the University's Dean's List in three of the last four semesters,
as well as being a fixture in the Department of Athletics 3.0 Club. She
was a 2010 All-MAAC Academic Team Selection and has twice been named to the
All-MAAC Second Team. As a rookie she was named to the All-MAAC Rookie
Team and All-MAAC Tournament Team after helping the Stags to the tournament
title and NCAA berth. Boudreau is serving as the Stags team captain this
season.
