Egan
has had a strong start to his sophomore season, placing as the top men's runner
for the Saints at each of their first two races. In the season opening meet at
Bryan, Egan placed 18th overall in a stacked field, running the 5K in an
impressive 15:54.91. Over the weekend, Egan again paced the Saints at Iona's
Meet of Champions. An Acturial Science major, Egan has also excelled in the
classroom where he currently holds a 3.35 cumulative GPA.

College junior goalkeeper Kara Davis is off to a spectacular campaign between
the pipes in 2011. Davis, an All-MAAC Rookie Team and All-Academic selection
during her career in Riverdale, currently ranks second in the conference for
saves per game (7.83/game), and has an 1.12 goals against average in six
starts. The Redding, Conn. native is coming off a four save effort on Sunday to
help secure a 1-1 tie at Wagner. Earlier this season, Davis recorded her ninth
career shutout with eight saves to lift Manhattan to a 1-0 victory over
cross-town rival Fordham.
