Samuel Adjei, Iona Men's Soccer
So, Forward - Newark, NJ/St. Benedict's Prep

Samuel Adjei serves as Iona's marked man this season, responsible for setting up the Gael offense.  In the midst of his sophomore campaign, Adjei has compiled four goals and six assists for 14 total points; the second-highest output on the team.  He leads Iona this season in game-winning goals (3), shots (39), and shots on goal (18).  Adjei has played in all 31 of Iona's contests since arriving in New Rochelle last season, and has started in all 12 matches this year.

Abi Cottam, Rider Women's soccer
Jr. Forward - Leominster, England/Ludlow

Since traveling across the pond Abi Cottam has excelled both on the Rider University soccer pitch and in the classroom. As a psychology major, Cottam owns a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average. Cottam ranks second at Rider in career assists, fourth in goals and fourth in points, and has only played 40 games. As a freshman Cottam suffered a preseason injury that caused her to miss her first 11 collegiate games. Since then she has compiled 19 goals and 16 assists for 54 points. In the 40 games Cottam has played the Broncs are 20-16-4. Cottam currently ranks eighth in the nation in points per game, ninth in Division I in assists, 16th in game-winning goals and 17th in goals.
