senior diver Ashley Jones completed her final season at Niagara University on a
high note, capturing the one-meter diving title on the final day of competition
at the 2012 MAAC Championships at the ECC Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo,
N.Y. for the first time in her career. The Lockport, N.Y. native
had a successful season in the pool, grabbing victories in the one-meter dive
five times this season and three times in the three-meter dive. The
two-time MAAC Women's Diver of the Week also set the Niagara record for the
3-meter 6 dive this season against Colgate with her final score of
245.99.
