Offensive Player of the Week

Mackenzie Mone, Iona
Sr., UT, 5-8, Temecula, Calif./Chaparral

Mone was a key performer at the Harvard Invite for Iona, scoring 11 goals over the weekend to lead the Gaels to a 3-1 record overall. She netted 3 goals in an 11-4 triumph over Mercyhurst, and versus Bucknell she scored five goals in an exciting 13-11 victory. Mone also had 12 steals total this weekend, including four against No. 12 San Jose State.

Defensive Player of the Week

                    

Marisa Gaynor, Iona
So., GK, 5-10, Orlando, Fla./Dr. Phillips

Gaynor was a workhorse in front of the net for Iona at the Harvard Invite, playing 128 minutes and making 43 saves overall to guide the Gaels to a 3-1 record for the weekend. Her 18 saves in a 12-11 overtime victory against host Harvard proved to be the difference-maker.

Rookie of the Week

Madeline Hurley, Siena
Fr., GK, 6-2, San Jose, Calif./St. Francis

Hurley has emerged as Siena's starter in goal, and shined in two home victories this past weekend. Against Villanova, she recorded 16 saves and a steal in a 9-7 win, and she stopped three of four shots on goal in one period of action in a 14-5 rout of Utica. On the weekend, her save percentage was an impressive .704.
