Ryan McCauley,

After sitting out most of last season because of a broken
bone in his hand, Ryan McCauley has come back strong in the 2012 season. The
junior's .429 batting average is first on the Purple Eagles and first in the
MAAC. In all he leads the conference in six offensive categories,
including slugging percentage (.860), RBIs (28), doubles (9), home runs (9),
and total bases (74). McCauley's success isn't just on the diamond, the
accounting major currently has a 3.84 GPA at Niagara, which is good for
second-highest on the team
Kelley Brady, Fairfield
Women's Lacrosse
Sr., GK - Olney, Md.
Brady has a 3.68 cumulative grade-point average and will
graduate in May 2012 with a degree in Marketing and is working on a New Media,
Film, TV & Radio minor. She has been a member of the Department of
Athletics 3.0 Club in each of her seven semesters and was named to the
University's Dean's List in each semester as a junior. Brady was the
driving force behind the Stags First Student-Athlete Talent Show to benefit the
Grace Evanko Fund, and played a role in the women's lacrosse team adopting
Grace in 2011. She served as co-president of SAAC as a junior and senior. Since
2005, Brady has been a part of Happy Helpers for Homeless, distributing
clothing and food to low income and homeless individuals. In addition,
she has taken part in Walk to Fight Diabetes, Joe's Ride and Fairfield SAAC
projects to write letters to U.S. Servicemen and women serving in Iraq and
Afghanistan, as well as collecting books for Bridgeport elementary age student.
Brady is a member of Alpha Mu Gamma, the Foreign Language Honor Society and
earned both the Fairfield University Staff Association and Christoper Slattery
Fairfield Memorial Scholarships. Brady lived in the Ignatian Residential College
as a sophomore, and in the Build-A-House Living and Learning Community as a
junior. In the Fall of 2009 she was a First-Year Experience Mentor and was
part of the Cura Personalis Mentoring Program. Brady has played in 23 games as
a collegiate keeper, with two appearances this spring.
