Bronx, N.Y. - On Saturday, April 14, members of the MAAC Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) volunteered at the NYC Basketball Regional & Aquatics Tournament held at Fordham University as part of Special Olympics New York. Two student-athletes from each MAAC member institution participated in the event.

The MAAC SAAC representatives assisted in the operations of the NYC Basketball Regional, partaking in array of duties, including scorekeeping and game clock management. A couple of MAAC student-athletes even arranged a pick-up game with a Special Olympics team.
