MAAC Sports
Tom Morr, Siena College Men's
Lacrosse

Morr has
enjoyed another tremendous season both on and off the field for the Saints. He
has already been named a four-time MAAC Defensive Player of the Week this
season and is one of just 10 finalists nationally for the prestigious Lowe's
Senior CLASS Award. A team captain for a second straight season and Preseason
All-MAAC selection, he currently ranks fifth nationally in saves per game
(11.82). Academically, Morr holds a 3.41 GPA while majoring in History. He has
been named to both the Siena College Dean's List and MAAC All-Academic Team
three times.
Chrissy Gutenberger, Manhattan
Women's Lacrosse
Sr., Att. - Stony Point, N.Y.
Gutenberger
is on the verge of becoming just the second player in program history to record
200 career points. Entering the final
regular season game of her collegiate career, Gutenberger has 196 points during
her time in a Manhattan uniform. She
also ranks second on the Jaspers' all-time list with 164 career goals.
The 2009
MAAC Rookie of the Year, she set Manhattan rookie records for goals (54) and
points (68) that season en route to a First Team All-MAAC selection. Gutenberger also established a program rookie
record with six goals against Niagara on April 3, 2009. She was named Second Team All-MAAC in 2010
after leading the squad with 41 goals and 49 points.
Gutenberger
overcame a serious illness that caused her to miss the first three games of the
2011 season, and netted five goals (including the 100th of her
career) in her return against Central Connecticut State on March 10, 2011. She finished with a team-high 33 goals and 39
points as a junior. Gutenberger has
appeared in every game this season, and she again paces the Jaspers in both
goals (36) and points (40). Gutenberger will graduate from Manhattan in May
with a degree in education.
