Seeler, Canisius Men's Golf

As one of
two seniors on the 2011-12 Canisius College men's golf team, senior Stephen Seeler has recorded three
career top-finishes and leads the team with seven top-20 finishes. The
three-year letterwinner played in his 30th career tournament this season on
April 13-14 at the Detroit Titan Invitational. In 2009, Seeler was the
co-medalist at the Little Three Championship at Moon Brook Country Club and
shot a career-ow of 68 in the first round of the Bucknell Invitational. Off the
course, he has made numerous trips to Latin America with Canisius' Campus
Ministry group. A two-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree, the accounting
information systems major currently holds a 3.750 GPA.
Addie DiFrancesco, Marist Women's
Cross Country & Track
Sr. - Waterbury, Conn
Addie
DiFrancesco has been an exemplary student-athlete throughout her four years at Marist.
She has earned All-MAAC honors in cross country three times, as she finished in
the top five at the MAAC championships in 2008 (third), 2009 (second) and 2011
(fourth). She holds the outdoor track school record in the 10,000 meters
with a time of 36:12.42, set at the 2009 Penn Relays. She then went on to
finish second in the ECAC Championships in that event in 2009. This season, she
has qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 10K again by virtue of her
37:02.53 time at the Mt. SAC Relays. Addie is a Communications major
with a concentration in Journalism and minor in Creative Writing.
