MAAC Announces 2012 Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Teams

Buffalo, N.Y. - A total of 58 student-athletes make up the 2012 MAAC Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Fairfield University led all schools with 12 student-athletes making the team.  Marist College had 10 athletes.  Eight student athletes earned spots on the team from Manhattan College, Niagara University and Siena College.  Canisius College and Iona College both added six student-athletes.
