The nation's leading
scorer Bryan Neufeld had another superb week for the Saints. He finished with
10 points on three goals and seven assists and added two groundballs. On
Tuesday against UAlbany, he finished with three points in the process becoming
the MAAC's all-time leading scorer. On Saturday at Manhattan he helped the
Saints finish with an undefeated MAAC Regular Season record for a third time in
the past four years, scoring seven points against the Jaspers.

Callahan
saved his best performance of the 2012 season for Saturday, leading the Griffs
to a 7-5 win against Marist and helping Canisius clinch a spot in the 2012 MAAC
Tournament. The senior netminder matched a season high with 11 saves on 16
shots on goal. His .688 save percentage also marks a season high for the
Orchard Park native, who also collected two ground balls in the winning effort.
The senior was nearly unbeatable late in the game -- allowing one goal in the
41 minutes following Marist tying the game at three, including a 29:06
scoreless streak as Canisius built its lead to 6-3.

Dowd had another
phenomenal week at the faceoff X for the Saints, winning 24 faceoffs including
54.5% of his draws, picked up 17 groundballs and also scored three goals. On
Tuesday at UAlbany, Dowd won 16 faceoffs, picked up 11 groundballs and recorded
his first career multi-goal game. He followed that up with another strong
performance Saturday, winning eight faceoffs, picking up six groundballs and
scoring yet another goal from his faceoff position in a win over the Jaspers.
