The MAAC announced the appointments of Erica Allenspach, Katie Carew and David Salomon as the conference's administrative fellows for the 2012-13 academic year.

Allenspach was a four-year starter for the Marist College women's basketball team, and a two-year team captain for the Red Foxes. During her college career, she helped lead her squad to four consecutive MAAC titles along with four appearances in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship. Allenspach is ranked sixth all-time on the Marist scoring chart with over 1,400 points. As a senior, she was named the 2010-11 Pepsi Max MAAC Player of the Year, as well as the 2010-11 All-Met Division I Women's College Basketball Player of the Year by the National Invitation Tournament and Met Basketball Writers Assn. Allenspach received her bachelor's degree in communications in May 2011.

Carew was a four-year starter for the Siena College women's swimming team, serving as captain in 2011. In addition, she served for two years as president of both Siena's and the MAAC's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was the MAAC's representative on the Division I National SAAC. During her sophomore and junior years at Siena, Carew aided her fellow classmates as an academic tutor. In the summer of 2011, she interned with Special Olympics New York, providing primary support to the Director of Programs for the Capital Region Delegation. Carew graduated in May 2012 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy.

Salomon joins the MAAC staff after spending the past year as the Facility and Game Operations Assistant at Baruch College, assisting in the overall operation of the school's facility and managing the fitness center. A former women's basketball manager at St. John's University, Salomon earned his bachelor's degree in sports management in May 2008. Following graduation, he spent the summer of 2008 as a building operations intern for the MSG NY Knicks Training Center. In August 2008, Salomon then became a Group and Season Sales Representative for the NY Knicks, Rangers and Liberty. Most recently, he assisted at the Fan Fest at the 2012 MAAC Basketball Championships in Springfield, Mass.

All three fellows will be working in the fields of compliance, championships and new media throughout the 2012-13 season.
