Stogsdill, Joly-Testault Earn Cross Country Weekly Honors

Edison, NJ - Chris Stogsdill of
Iona College was named the MAAC Men's Cross Country
Performer of the Week, while teammate Marion Joly-Testault earned
the award on the women's side.
At
the 18th Annual Meet of Champions at Van Cortlandt, Stogsdill placed third,
covering the 8k event in 25:31.89. He finished just 10 seconds behind the 1st
place race winner in the field. The race featured 141 Division I runners.
Joly-Testault
finished second, covering the 6k race in 22:10.44. She finished seven seconds
ahead of the next collegiate finisher. She was second overall among 112 division
I runners and helped the Iona women place fourth of twelve Division I teams.
The
2012 MAAC Cross Country Championships will be held at ESPN Wide World of Sports
in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. on Saturday, October 27.
