Gavin Falconer - Canisius College
Men's Soccer, Sr., 5-11, Waterford, Ireland/University College Dublin
Senior Gavin Falconer of the Canisius College men's soccer team currently leads the Golden Griffins in goals (9), points (22) and shots (70). In addition, he leads his team in game-winning goals (2) and assists (4). The Waterford, Ireland native has started in 15 contests this season, leading the Griffs' turnaround season. The senior continues to ranks among the nation's best scorers, ranking 14th in the country with nine goals, while ranking 16th with 21 points. A 2011 MAAC All-Academic selection, Falconer is majoring in sport management and currently holds a 3.34 GPA.
Chelsea Botta - Marist College
Women's Soccer, Sr., D, 5-6, East Longmeadow, Mass.
A two-year captain of the Red Foxes, Botta has seen her role evolve from a lockdown defender to a two-way weapon during her senior season. Coming into the year with just three goals and two assists in her career, Botta has surpassed those numbers with four goals and three assists through 18 games in 2012. Defensively, she is part of a defensive third that has posted a 1.17 goals against average this season. Botta also excels in the in classroom, earning a spot on the 2011 CoSIDA/Capital One First Team Academic All-District, as well as nods on 2010 and 2011 MAAC All-Academic Teams. She is majoring in Business Administration.
