Goose Receives USTFCCCA All-America Honors

NJ - Iona College's Mitch Goose receives All-America honors
for the 2012 NCAA Division I Cross Country season from the U.S. Track &
Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Goose
was one of 80 student-athletes who received All-America accolades from the USTFCCCA
announced on Monday, Nov. 19. The top 40 individuals from the men's and women's
races earn All-America recognition.
Goose
has been the anchor for the Gaels this season, with first place finishes in the
MAAC Men's Cross Country Championship and the NCAA Northeast Regional. He also
finished with an impressive 23rd place finish out of 245 runners at the NCAA Division
I Cross Country Championship. Goose helped Iona to a 29th place
finish in a field that included 31 of the nation's top teams.
