Thomas Rodrigues – Niagara University

Baseball, Jr., SS/2B, 6-0, Pierrefonds, QC/John Rennie

Thomas Rodrigues has had a career junior season thus far, helping the Niagara baseball team to a 7-7 record in MAAC play.  The sport management major has played in all 38 games thus far, earning a .270 batting average going 34-for-126 at the plate.  He has four doubles on the season, and 12 RBIs. Rodrigues was named a MAAC Player of the Week after batting .667 (10-for-15) with four RBIs, a walk and two stolen bases in the series sweep over the Saint Peter’s Peacocks.

 

Lauren Liseth – Fairfield University

Softball, Jr., C, Centralia, Wash./Centralia

Liseth leads the team with a .390 batting average and ranks nationally with 1.08 walks per game and with a .562 on-base percentage. She has registered 31 runs scored and 31 RBI in her 39 starts this season. Liseth is a Dean’s List student with a 3.93 GPA as a double major in communications and history. She was recently inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu honor society and is an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.
