Kevin Persson – Saint Peter’s University

Track & Field, Sr., Sprints, 5-10, Mt. Olive, N.J./Kean University

Senior Kevin Persson helped lead the Saint Peter's University men's track and field team to a third-place finish at the 2013 MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend.  He captured a gold medal in the 400-meter dash , coming in at 48.80, and added two bronze medals as a member of the 4x100 and the 4x400 Relay Teams. The Mount Olive, N.J. native boasts a 3.836 GPA- the highest of any member of the Saint Peter's men's track & field team.  A History major, Persson will graduate later this month. 

 

Megan Trainer – Loyola University Maryland

Track & Field, Sr., Sprints/Throws, Bala Cynwyd, Pa./Academy of Notre Dame

Megan Trainer helped Loyola’s 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams to third-place finishes and All-MAAC honors at the conference championships this past weekend. She also helped the 4x100 squad break the school record, combining for a time of 49.86. Individually, she finished seventh in the 400m with a personal-best time of 1:00.32, bringing her two-day point total to 14 points.
