Chris Gruarin – Canisius College

Gruarin has appeared in 44 games this season and is hitting .312 with 25 runs scored, nine doubles, four home runs, 22 RBI and 11 stolen bases. The senior outfielder is the team’s current active leader with 107 runs scored, nine home runs and 36 stolen bases to go along with 20 outfield assists in his three years with the Golden Griffins.
Rebecca Thomas – Marist College
Water Polo, Sr., GK, Cape Town, South Africa/University of Cape Town
Rebecca Thomas was the Red Foxes’ starting goalkeeper for the past two seasons after transferring from the University of Cape Town. She was twice named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, sharing the award in 2012 and winning in outright in 2013. In 67 games in her Marist career, Thomas owned a 37-28 record with a .584 save percentage and 7.87 goals against average. This past season, she went 23-12 with 271 saves for a .521 save percentage and 8.10 goals against average. A member of the 2013 MAAC All-Academic Team, Thomas had 29 career games with at least 10 saves. A Communications major, Thomas was named CoSIDA/Capital One First Team Academic All District this year.
