Edison, NJ – Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Commissioner Richard J. Ensor announced today the hiring of Jordan Confessore for the position of Director of Women's Basketball Operations.

Confessore will be responsible for the planning and operations of the MAAC Women’s Basketball Championship, developing women’s basketball schedules, coordinating officials, and assisting in the production of the women’s basketball broadcast package.

“The MAAC welcomes Jordan to the league as she takes on the operation of women’s basketball,” said Commissioner Richard J. Ensor. “After meeting her during the interview process I was impressed with her enthusiasm and energy and I look forward to her efforts to improve women’s basketball operations in the MAAC.”

Confessore joins the MAAC staff after serving as an Account Executive/Group Sales Manager at the Gazelle Group. In that role she acted as an on-site company representative, working with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators, for various Division I college basketball tournaments. She has also served as a Sports Marketing Department Intern at Rutgers University and a Marketing and Promotions Intern at MSSL Soccer.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from the School of Sports Management and Media at Ithaca College, where she was a four-year women’s basketball player. Confessore also served as a Women in Sports Careers Executive Board Member.
