Willmott netted his first career hat-trick against cross-town rival Canisius to push the Niagara men's soccer team to a 3-2 victory. Willmott found the back of the net on three separate occasions for a six-point weekend, scoring a pair in the opening half and adding the game-winning tally in the 83rd minute of play to help the Purple Eagles (8-0-4; 2-0-1 MAAC) extend their unbeaten streak to 12 games, tying the program record. The Iver, Eng. native is currently tops on Niagara in goals (8) and points (17).

Playing all 185 minutes, Van Riper earned 10 saves, stopping 90.9-percent of shots faced, while allowing just one goal in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. In an overtime win versus Marist on Friday night, Van Riper played all 95 minutes, stopping four shots. He followed that up against Siena on Sunday by shutting out the Saints to give them their first MAAC loss of the year. The clean sheet was his fifth of the season and second in conference play. He also assisted his second goal of the year as he booted a ball down the field to sophomore Connor Thompson, who scored as time expired.

Marshall had a point in each of Loyola's wins this weekend, including setting up the Greyhounds game-winning goal in overtime against Marist on Friday. He played a cross from the corner onto the head of senior Gary Weisbaum for the 96th minute winner. Marshall sent another cross into the box on Sunday to assist an insurance goal for Loyola as it knocked off Siena, 3-0, which was previously unbeaten in MAAC play.
