Edison, N.J. - The 2012 MAAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are set for Saturday, October 27 at Hess Fields at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The men's race will begin at 8 a.m., while the women's race is scheduled for 8:45 a.m.
The Iona College men's team, currently ranked #4 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division I Coaches' Poll, looks to claim its 22nd straight MAAC Championships. On the women's side, the Gaels will vie for their eighth consecutive MAAC title. Both streaks are the longest active streaks at the NCAA Division I level.
