Player of the Week

Katie Cizynski, Jr., F, 6-2, Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug

Junior Katie Cizynski paced the Stags with a double-double in their impressive 52-49 victory over St. Bonaventure University on November 20. Cizynski finishing with a career-high 16 points and 10 rebounds, to help the Stags to their third-straight win. The forward added two assists and a block in 31 minutes of action.

Rookie of the Week

Shayna Ericksen, Fr., F, 6-0, Hackettstown, N.Y./West Morris Central

Ericksen averaged 14.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games last week.  In the Jaspers' contest at Cornell on Tuesday night, she tallied a career-high 16 points, going 7-for-11 from the field, while also notching a team-high six boards to go along with two assists and three steals.  Then on Sunday against Fairleigh Dickinson, Ericksen recorded her first career double-double.  She had 12 points and a career-high 11 boards against the Knights.  In addition, Ericksen picked up the first two blocked shots of her career, as well as a pair of assists and two steals on Sunday.
