Damika Martinez, Iona, Sophomore, Guard, 5-7, Meriden, CT / Orville H. Platt

Damika Martinez posted a team high 18 points, along with three steals, two blocks and four rebounds in the Gaels' contest at Stony Brook this weekend.  Martinez scored 12 of her 18 in the second in the close contest, including a perfect 6-for-6 from the line.

Rookie of the Week

Joy Adams, Iona, Freshman, Forward, 5-11, Orlando, FL / Evans

Joy Adams posted her fourth consecutive double-double in the Gaels' non-conference finale at Stony Brook, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Adams knocked down five of her eight shot attempts in the contest.
