Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference begins its 2013 MAAC Basketball Television Schedule with Siena College hosting Iona College on Friday, January 4. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m., and the National MAAC Game of the Week will air live on ESPN3.
Iona, 7-6 overall and 1-1 in the MAAC, is led by senior guard Lamont Jones, who is contributing a league-high 22.5 points and 4.2 assists per game, and junior guard Sean Armand, who is posting 19.3 points and 6.2 rebounds an outing for the Gaels.
Siena, 2-11 overall and 0-2 in the MAAC, is led by senior forward O.D. Anosike, who is registering 13.3 points and a nation-best 12.7 rebounds per game, and sophomore guard Rakeem Brookins, who is averaging 13.4 points and 2.3 assists an outing for the Saints.
