Edison, NJ - Manhattan College's Mikael Rojeras and Rider University's La'tazah Coleman were named the Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Performers of the Week.

Rojeras, a 6-0 junior from Sala, Sweden, won two events at the NYRR Saturday Night at the Races at the New Balance Armory Track & Field Center and qualified for the IC4A Championships in both. After running the mile in a first-placed time of 4:12:98, Rojeras ran the anchor leg on the Jaspers' victorious 4 x 800 meter relay squad. The quartet finished in 7:27:32, more than five seconds ahead of the team from Princeton.

Coleman, a 5-8 freshman from Middletown, Delaware, led Rider to a runner-up finish at the Army 6-way meet on January 12. Coleman won both the 60 meter dash (7.68) and 200 meter dash (24.65). Both times were Rider records and she qualified for ECACs in both events. Coleman's time in the 200 is currently 26th in the NCAA.

The MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held on Friday, February 15th at The Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.
