MAAC and to Feature MAAC.TV Weekend Showcase

Edison, N.J. - The MAAC and are teaming up to feature live broadcasts of seven men's and women's basketball games on the website.

The MAAC.TV Weekend Showcase on will start on Sunday, Jan. 27 when the men's programs from Manhattan College and Rider University compete at Alumni Gymnasium in Lawrenceville, N.J. All the games will stream live from the MAAC.TV feed on the web site free of charge, hosted by NeuLion.

"The six schools that form the MAAC.TV webcast network are pleased to enter into a 'Game of the Week' partnership with," notes Rich Ensor, Commissioner of the MAAC.  "The opportunity to extend the MAAC.TV brand into a broader national audience was a driving force behind this decision. has become a destination site for college hoops news, and it is great to be associated with their efforts to promote the game."

The MAAC has participated in the Postseason Tournament (CIT) since its inception in 2009, holding an 8-6 record in the event.  Fairfield University reached the semifinals in 2012, and Iona College finished in second place in the 2011 tournament.

"The MAAC was the first conference to embrace us back in 1996," said co-founder Angela Lento. "Our great relationship has continued to grow working with Rich Ensor and his staff and we are very excited about our latest project."
