Sosa is the first Canisius men's basketball player to earn academic all-district honors since former Griff Darren Fenn was honored for his work in the classroom during the 2000-01 campaign. The Capital One Academic All-District Men's Basketball Teams are released annually to recognized the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically.
