Today was the last full day of CFS, and for me this was my favorite day. The majority of the day consisted of perfecting our resume, going through mock interviews, and networking within the NCAA community. One of the reasons I found this day enjoyable was because I learned tips and techniques that will directly apply to my job search. For me I am unsure what career I want to pursue and since today had more general content, it was the most helpful. The highlight of the day for myself was attending the Q&A with the NCAA president Mark Emmert. I felt very lucky to be able to talk to the man who has such an esteemed role in collegiate athletics.
Looking back on my experience here in Indianapolis I feel extremely privileged have been able to attend CFS representing Siena College. It has been a trip that I will never forget. I am still in awe of the caliber of student athletes here in attendance; they are truly leaders on and off the field. These are the student athletes who will be the next generation of leaders for athletic departments, universities, and the NCAA.
