Spencer Bray took home three individual victories in the Griffs’ dominant 203-86 victory over Colgate. Bray broke the school-record in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:42.91. Bray continued his strong swimming when he also took the top-spot in the 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard backstroke during the event.
Freshman Marissa Watroba of Niagara Falls, New York, broke the Canisius school-record in the 200-yard breaststroke when she finished with a time of 2:28.43. Watroba also won the 100-yard breaststroke in the meet.
The Griff’s junior diver Eddie Quarantillo continued his impressive season as he had the best score on both boards for the third consecutive meet, scoring 312.82 in the 1-meter dive and a 306.82 in the 3-meter dive.
Audrey Mulhisen, a sophomore, took home first place on both boards in the Griffs’ 163-133 loss to Colgate. It’s the first time Mulhisen has finished first on either board this season. She completed the 1-meter dive with a score of 231.59 and finished the 3-meter dive with a score of 243.30.
