Des Moines, IA - Iona College's Mitch Goose, Manhattan College's Anastas Papazov, and Saint Peter's College's Isaiah Harris competed this weekend at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake University's Drake Stadium.

Goose, a senior, finished 12th in the men's 5000-meter run with a time of 14:02.53, two seconds behind the 11th place performer and just five seconds off the First Team All-America pace. Goose's time was his second fastest of the year behind his NCAA qualifying and school record time of 13:34.41 at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in April.  It stands as one of the Top 15 times in school history. Goose earned Second Team All-America accolades.

Papazov, a freshman, placed 16th in the men's hammer throw with a top mark of 61.85 meters (202 feet, 11 inches). After a 61.65 m (202'3) toss on his first attempt, Papazov's second effort was his best.  He didn't improve on his last throw and missed the finals by just under two meters.  With his 16th-place showing, Papazov earned Second Team All-America honors.

Harris finished 22nd in the men's triple jump with a leap of 15.22-meters. He achieved the mark on his third attempt following a foul on attempt one and a distance of 15.19-meters on attempt two. Harris, a sophomore, was the first Peacock to ever compete at the NCAA Championships.
