MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

Brittany McQuain, Quinnipiac

Sr., F, 6-0, Independence, Mo./William Chrisman

The 6-0 senior forward from Independence, Missouri scored a career high 28 points to go along with 12 rebounds in her return to her home state on Tuesday when the Bobcats defeated Missouri State 75-65. McQuain shot 9-of-15 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line in the victory. Against St Joseph's on Sunday, she scored 14 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, dished 3 assists, and collected 3 steals. In two games on the week she averaged 21.0 points and 9.5 rebounds.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

Emia Willingham, Siena

Fr., G, 5-8, Albany, N.Y./Albany

Willingham tied a program record with 10 steals, rallying Siena from a 10-point second half deficit to beat 2013 WNIT participant Sacred Heart 58-53 Tuesday night. Willingham posted a double-double and finished just three rebounds shy of a triple-double, in adding career-highs of 17 points and seven rebounds while shooting 6-of-11 (54.5%) from the field in just 22 minutes off the bench. Her 10 steals, which tied a Siena record shared by Shawn Shafer (Jan. 30, 1988) and Mary Fuchs (Jan. 19, 1989), were also tied for the second most in a game in MAAC history.
