Brittany Pfaff is the Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. Pfaff notched her first career hat trick, and scored the game-winning goal in double overtime, in the Saints’ 3-2 win over Vermont on Sept. 18. Pfaff twice brought the Saints back from deficits late in the second half, before ending the match in double overtime.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

G, Sr., 5-7, Wading River, NY/Shoreham Wading River

Senior Trista Rivera made seven saves to secure her first shutout of the season and help the Gaels open MAAC play with a 1-0 win over Canisius.  Rivera had three saves in the first half, and stopped four more shots in the second.  Rivera, who took Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season, kept Canisius off the board despite the Golden Griffs holding an advantage in shots and corner kicks.
