Edison, NJ - Rider's Anthony Dentino and Megan Elgin were selected as the MAAC Men's and Women's Runner of the week, respectively.
Dentino, a freshman from Sewell, N.J., competed at the Fordham Fiasco on Sept. 10th and finished first among the Broncs for the second time in as many collegiate races. Overall, he placed 30th among 105 runners, finishing the five mile course in 26:43.41.
Elgin, a junior out Doylsetown, Pa., also led the way for the Broncs, finishing first on her team at the Fordham Fiasco and 20th overall among 117 runners. She covered the 3.1 mile course in 19:02.38.
The 2011 MAAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will be held on October 28th at Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale, New York.
