The long goal of the day came when Janson Blake headed in a corner kick by Camilo Correa at the 26:18 mark to give the Greyhounds a 1-0 lead, which they were able to hold onto into halftime.
Loyola goalkeeper Milos Kocic, the championship’s Most Valuable Player, recorded nine saves in the win for the Greyhounds. Saint Peter’s Matthew Lawlor posted two saves between the pipes for the Peacocks.
Joining Kocic on the All-Tournament Team were teammates Blake, Tennant McVea, Eddie Dines and Phil Bannister. Saint Peter’s was represented by Assaf Sheleg, Lebongang Pila, Juan Gaviria and Murphy Wiredu on the squad.
