Tania Kennedy was named the Assistant Director of Championships in July of 2009.

Kennedy, along with the Associate Commissioner for Championships and the Director of Championships & Special Events, runs the MAAC Championships. She  assists the Director of Championships with MAAC Special Events, including NCAA Championships and MAAC Championships at Walt Disney World's Wide World of Sports Complex, as well as the conference's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Kennedy served as a summer intern at the MAAC in 2008, performing various duties around the office. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication from Saint Peter's College.

Kennedy was a four-year letter winner for the Saint Peter's Peahens women's basketball team. She was named to the All-MAAC team on three separate occasions. Kennedy was also named the 2007-08 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year. She is the Peahens' all-time leader in three-point field goals made and is one of 19 players in program history to score over 1,000 career points.
