Samantha Hegmann was named Administrative Fellow for Compliance in July of 2011.
As compliance fellow, Hegmann assists the Senior Associate Commissioner with the conference’s compliance program, oversees the National Letter of Intent program, oversees the coaches' certification program, collects and analyze squad lists, assists with the analysis of the EADA federal reporting forms and assists with the completion of the annual NCAA Special Assistance reporting form.
Hegmann graduated from Adelphi University in August 2011 with a master's degree in sport's management. Additionally she holds a bachelor's degree in Health Studies from Monmouth University where she also competed for their Track and Field team. Prior to joining the MAAC, Hegmann served as a graduate assistant in the Health Studies and Physical Education Department at Adelphi University from 2010-2011. Hegmann also served as Assistant Track and Field coach at the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 2010-2011 where she specialized in coaching the throwing events.
